Moving or Selling Your Home?
To discontinue your oil or propane service, please call 1-800-523-5237 (at least 14 days prior) to arrange a final date. If you do not own your propane tank, we will need to conduct a “final reading” for credit or reimbursement by Eastern. Propane remaining in tanks owned by Eastern should NOT be pro-rated in your real estate closing. For detailed information, see our Propane Proration Procedure.
Change of Mailing Address
To change only your mailing address, follow the instructions on your payment remittance slip or call us at 1-800-523-5237.
Refunds
Closed accounts with a credit balance may be entitled to a refund. Please Contact Us to confirm your current mailing address and request a refund.

If you are moving to another location in ME, MA, NH or VT chances are we deliver the same great products and services you have come to know and trust at your new home too! Even if the previous resident used a different provider, Eastern can make the transition easy for you.

If there are Eastern Propane tanks at your new location, please call us at 800-523-5237 right away to transfer service to your name. This is important for an accurate gas proration and to avoid any interruption in service in the event the previous resident has already requested to cancel their account.
