| ROCHESTER, NH— Eastern Propane & Oil announced today they have hired Mark Stone as Manager of Information Services. Stone was formerly the Director of Information Systems at Redlon & Johnson in Portland, ME and prior to that he held positions as a Technical Application Consultant and Senior Programmer Analyst. Mark Stone is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and brings a strong background in systems integration. In his new post, he will be primarily responsible for a continuation of efforts to enhance and improve the coherence of the company’s various information systems. Currently Eastern maintains a sophisticated data-sharing infrastructure, which affords the ability to deliver seamless “local” services through seven district offices in each of the communities they serve. Over the next several months Eastern will embark on customer-centric enhancements of their web-based communications and in-field interactions.
