Our New Safety Procedures Focus On You

Throughout the pandemic Eastern Propane & Oil has been taking extra measures to keep our customers and the communities we serve safe, which includes contactless customer appointments.

We know that you depend on us for reliable service and delivery and we are committed to safely being there when you need us. When scheduling a contactless service appointment and before our visit, we will be in contact with you to review our procedures and make sure our Service Technicians may safely enter your home.

On the day of the service appointment, our technician will communicate via phone and mail your service invoice. We currently follow local, state, and CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting, and all of our service technicians, delivery drivers, and energy consultants have been trained in safe work practices that reduce the likelihood of any virus transmission.

If our team does not feel the service or sales appointment can be completed safely, they will let you know and reschedule your service appointment. In the event of an emergency, additional safety protocols may be necessary. Serving you and keeping you safe are our top priorities.

What can you do?

Please keep your distance from service technicians and delivery drivers while they are on site.

Expect general screening questions and an overview of what to expect during our contactless visit. Before our visit we will want to confirm that everyone is healthy, and no one is under quarantine.

With more time being spent at home, you might be using more fuel.  If you are interested in learning how to check your propane tank gauge, click here for a how-to video. For oil and kerosene customers, look for your gauge on the top or side of your tank. You can determine your tank level by reading the number next to the top of the floating marker.
